Mark is a visible presence at the Inn. He arranges and leads organized activities, oversees the waterfront, skippers the tour boats and mingles with guests; if you spend much time around the Inn grounds you are likely to meet him.

Mark worked at the Inn back in the late 70's and he has many stories of the Inn of yore. If you have questions about the human and natural history of the area, or the Inn itself, he's a good person to talk with. Prior to joining the Inn in 2012, Mark was Executive Director of the Salt Ponds Coalition. His lifelong explorations of the southern Rhode Island coast, and work with the state's nine salt ponds, make him ideally suited to help our guests and community members enjoy the natural riches of this beautiful location.
